Nutrition Fundamentals is a 2-day course to help dairy farmers build skills and confidence in managing dairy cow nutrition. Topics covered include:

The digestive system of the cow

Minimising feed waste

Using field observations to monitor diet

Young stock nutrition

As discussed during previous workshops, this course will have a slightly higher focus on nutrition for reproductive performance.
